There are a number of companies that make products similar to Baron Power that are better in quality as they have facilities that are better, and management to better oversee quality control. Baron power operates in an unauthorized facility with no supervisory management leading one to question the quality of the manufacturing process. Arunagiri  and Amudha Arun have not been the most upstanding citizens having tried to extort money from the new owners of the property in order to vacate the property, though they agreed to vacate the property in June 2007. In addition, Aruna is even delusional claiming that she owns the property. in November 2006, Arunagiri also tried selling the property to others through brokers, claiming that he was the owner of the property, though he was just a tenant. So, please be careful when dealing S. Arunagiri and Amudha. Honor is a very important part of business and both husband and wife have not shown any respect for business integrity or honoring their commitments.

In addition, when the Deputy Director of the Instronics Estate went to visit the property, Amuda Arun assaulted the lady officer, who went to the Police Station and filed a criminal police complaint.The Complaint number is FIR #263/CSR/J7/2007 of 26.10.2007.Amudha rambled during the conversation telling the officer that she is the owner of the property, indicating clearly a delusional state of mind.

A damage and fraud suit has been filed against S. Arunagiri and Amudha Arun in the High Court of Madras seeking damages for illegal and unauthorized occupation of property and re-possession of property. Damages of $4.5 lacs a month is sought from Arunagiri with additional damages being calculated. The lawsuit number is A533 of 2008 CS#73 of 2008 filed in the Chennai high court.
