Manager - C&I for Power Sector for Vadodara(10-15 yrs.)

1.Ensure the timely preparation of a responsive & technically compliant proposal for the C & I system, including document/submittals/ Data Sheets/deviations etc & guarantees.
2.Involvement during design, analysis and/or evaluation of station C&I system engineering requirements and integrating with Boiler & STG control processes. Review all key control schemes, processes, diagrams etc for various power plant applications as required.
3.Responsible for obtaining and developing data for preparing specifications, test procedures, safety reports and purchase-related documents.
4.Responsible for sourcing / developing competitive vendors for station C&I systems Create and maintain database on vendors / equipment costs.
5.Responsible for overall review, analysis and reports on supplier, architect-engineer and consortium partner drawings and proposals and make recommendations on specific technical areas.
6.Participate in various internal meetings. Consult with appropriate engineering functions to ensure design criteria is suitable for the application and advise those concerned of changes required.
7.Associate for integration, review routine calculations & optimization of overall C&I system for plant.
8.Maintain regular interactions with industry and keep abreast with latest developments. Create and maintain cost database on C&I systems offered by competitors.
9.Carry out basic economic studies for bid purposes.
10.Perform lead function in achieving engineering schedule, hours and technical quality for C&I Scope.
11.Identify and process changes that impact contract margin.
Chief Engineer with minimum 20 years experience needed for refinery, petrochemical, Power and heavy industrial design projects. Candidates experience must include leading/supervising Instrumentation Engineers & Designers on large refinery, power or petrochemical projects. Responsibilities include interpretation of engineering data, development of project design basis, development of specifications, and performance of detailed engineering. Engineering Reports are often a work product. Ensures conformance to applicable engineering codes and standards as well as company policies and procedures. Manages resource requirements and business needs for projects. Develops long-term plans that impact the achievement of business results.
The candidate will be responsible for the design of analog ICs in state of the art CMOS/BiCMOS/BCD technologies. He/she will be required to manage a design project and be heavily involved in the top-level definitions, circuit design, layout check and other supporting aspects that ensure the ICs meet specifications.
Requirements:
Degree in Electrical / Electronics Engineering
At least 4 years of analog IC design experience
Knowledge in the use of various EDA tools such as Spectre and
Hspice
Knowledge in various basic analog building blocks such as
amplifiers, bias circuits and voltage references
Experience in switch-mode power supply will have an added
advantage
